China Glaze L8R G8R stamping

This post is going to be short and sweet with Part Deux of L8R G8R! I wore this look for the Aussie Nails Group girls get together in Melbourne a few weeks ago. I decided I wanted to glitter and stamp and make it all purty  and interesting :) 

 For this look I wanted to use KBShimmer Toucan Touch This as an accent as I thought it would go so well with L8R G8R, and then I picked out the orange and aqua glitter to match my stamping. I stamped with Kleancolor Metallic Aqua and Kleancolor Metallic Orange using Gals plates.

I really loved the complete look of this..aside from the fact that L8R G8R is a gorgeous light lime green linear holo! The stamping and glitter added a lot of fun and made this more interesting. KBShimmer Toucan Touch This is a gorgeous polish and this was one coat over the top of L8R G8R. It had heaps of glitter pay off and easy to apply. As always the Kleancolor Metallics stamp awesomely! It's Monday tomorrow..7.30am start at work for me and I am trying to get enthusiastic about it..working on it..LOL..

Hello to you all lovelies out there. I have been a bit absent!! I have noticed my absence, I wonder if you guys have? I have been doing my nails but I have been time poor to sit down and post as I decided to go on a "nutritional lifestyle plan"..otherwise known as a big 'ole fat diet. Do you know how much time this shit takes up? Food Shopping and cooking..and more cooking, gah! I am not a natural born cook so this takes alot more effort than it should. Then there is the 10,000 steps a day to try and do. I have no problems when I am at work, it's my days off that are harder to get them in. At least I have the first week under my belt (so to speak!) and a few kilo's down. I have an overseas trip in September that has given me a kick in the but to get in better shape. I wonder if my fingers will lose weight too? LOL. Now, polish time!

Tonight I have an oldie but a goodie for you..the simply awesome China Glaze L8R G8R from the OMG collection from 2009. Everyone knows these are hard to find these days and cost an arm and a leg. I picked up L8R G8R last year and I am sure I paid more than I should..but, it's awesome!

Argh! How awesome is the lime color combined with the linear holo?? I wore this by itself for a few days...then of course I had to bling it up :) Tomorrow I am on a mission to check out the new Rimmel Metal Rush polishes and more Lush Lemony Flutter Cuticle Butter..love that stuff. I'm off to have some ice cream and ice magic (yay for free days!) Hope your weekend is going well and what do you think of light lime polish? Yes or no? :) 

Color Club Wild at Heart

Hello all! Tonight I have for you a match made in heaven. First of all I finally picked up Color Club Wild at Heart on a blog sale. This is an awesome purple that has a scattered holo. I also got given a bottle of Shades of Phoenix Dionysus from the lovely creator Teneil when the Aussie Nails Group of girls met up a week ago and these two play very well together! :)

Despite the holo not being super strong I really love this color..it's such a vibrant purple! The Shades of Phoenix Dionysus is just lovely and you can't purchase it yet, but there are other lovely glittery shades you can purchase from Shades of Phoenix Etsy store here.

Sportsgirl Nail It! Volcanic Sparks

A little while ago, I showed you Sportsgirls own nail polish Nail It! Moonlight Sparks, tonight I have the fiery red version Volcanic Sparks. I have been sick the last 4 days so this is just a quick post to say "Hi I am alive" and I hope my lungs stay in my chest :) Sick of coughing! Anyways, this is a dark based red/gold flecked duo chrome polish that is easy to apply and very interesting to photograph. It appears more vibrant in person.

I really enjoyed how the polish changed in the light and the flecks were very sparkly! More so than in the pics. There isn't much else to say! It applies well, looks lovely and keeps you entertained for hours with the color shift changes.
