China Glaze Bohemian Skittles (pic heavy)

I was sitting in the car today, going to the shooting range (as you do on a Sunday) to do a bit of rifle target shooting (1st time!) and the sun was out. I had done a skittles mani with the new China Glaze range and was told that the duochrome shift wasn't that strong. Let me tell you people in the sun, ho-boy is the duo shift awesome! So I pulled out the iphone to take some pics and share with you. I did some pics in the lightbox, and the shift hard to coax out....but the colors are so vibrant that I love them anyways. So here is my pics of my skittles mani. I started by layering each color except Rare & Radiant which I believe is another Chanel Peridot dupe, over a coat of China Glaze Liquid Leather (black).

I am holding Deviantly Daring..you can see the dark green/blue shimmer in the bottle.

Slight shift in Unpredictable (ring finger) but Want my Bawdy (thumb) has no real shift, but so pretty!

You can see here that the Unpredictable (ring) and Swanky Silk (little finger) are shifting

China Glaze Bohemian
Now all of them are shifting! Not so strong in this light but a definite shift.

Extreme close up of Deviantly Daring and No Plain Jane. Can you believe they started out as Dark Green and Purple??

Side by side comparison of  Unpredicatable and Swanky Silk, flash and sun shot.

I believe the response to the China Glaze Bohemian collection release was underwhelming and the reviews so far have wanted a stronger duo chrome shift. My thoughts on the collection are that the formula is excellent with 2 coats only just needed because I layered over black. The colors vibrant in normal/natural light but they do come into their own in sunlight. I just couldn't stop playing with the duo chrome shift and it was amazing to look at. My thoughts on each individual colors:

Want my Bawdy- no duochrome but very vibrant blue. Like alot.
Deviantly Daring- LOVE! Dark Green in normal light, electric light blue in sun.
No Plain Jane-  LOVE! I have a soft spot for purple anyways and this is a gorgeous one added bonus it goes Orange :)
Unpredictable- LOVE! Pretty green that flips out to a lovely blue. Probably the strongest shifter with no sunlight
Swanky Silk- LOVE! It's a rose gold color in normal light and I do not have anything like it. I love how it goes bronze in sunlight but the rose gold color I prefer.

So for me this collection is a winner..Rare and Radiant I belive is a dupe for Just spotted the Lizard and Chanel Peridot, so could live without. Want my Bawdy, well the name rocks and the blue is pretty lovely so I would have got it anyways..all the rest I am very happy to have in my collection.

Let me know what you think about the Bohemian collection..yay or nay for you?
