The Great Aussie Polish Challenge, Day 5- BYS

The Great Aussie Polish Challenge is now at day 5..and Day 5 brings with it BYS. BYS is commonly found in Target, the Reject Shop, Gloss and $2 Shops (funny, they are more than $2!). They have a variety of colors, shatters, color change polishes, matte polishes and even glow-in-the-dark polish! Colors and state of the polish varies between store to store but Gloss seems to have the nicer colors of the BYS range, as does Kmart if you are wanting the full range choice. Today I have a combo of Matte Black and Blue Color change polish in my first attempt at a ruffian style look.

 So here is the BYS Color change, blue to aqua and Matte Black polish

I didn't take a photo of the Matte Black step but I did one coat of Matte Black..I also used Seche Vite for the top coat

 The graduation from light aqua to dark blue at the tips is so nice :)

 This is without top cot, the Matte look carried through the color change polish.

Well, the Ruffian look went reasonable for a first attempt. I really love the color change polish over the Matte black as the color change polish mattified itself. The color change polish was cooler than I thought it would be, I was a bit "meh" about the concept but I guess it's the lazy chicks gradient! LOL. My only bone of contention with the Ruffian is that it makes my nails look stumpier than they are. Yes or no?
