Zoya Kelly doesn't look so bad at this distance
Extreme close up to show the bubbles. Argh!
So, you can see there is some major bubble action going on. My base coat is Ulta3 which I use for ALL my other mani's. It can bubble a bit but I notice it right away at the base coat stage. Not so sure what is going here, but will have to give Kelly another go and see what happen with bubbling. I am about to order a few more so I hope this is a one off or I will be crying. If you take the bubbles away Kelly is a lovely blue grey which would go well with some flakies methinks!
Hope everyone elses day is going better than mine, do you have Zoya's and do they bubble??
I own many Zoyas (I actually just ordered Kelly from a blog sale myself) and I have never had a problem with them bubbling! In fact, my Zoya cremes consistently have hands down the best formula of any I've tried. Judging by how much it bubbled it may be a bad bottle that has had excessive air exposure. :( Although I've never tried that base coat.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the reply Rebecca :) I am definitively going to have to give Zoya a go over a different base coat, because I lurves the colors :)
DeleteI really love this color! I need to buy a Zoya one of these days! I hope your day gets better.
ReplyDeleteThanks Maggy! My day did improve..I went to bed, LOL :)
DeleteI hope that you are okay and that you feel better soon!! It is such a shame that the polish is bubbling like that :(. I have some Zoya's but I haven't had that problem with them. I heard someone say once that humidity may be a factor in polishes doing that.
ReplyDeleteThanks Ashesela for the reply :) It's currently winter in Australia so there isn't much humidity around..maybe the base coat is to blame after all, erk!
