Essense Fame Fatale with Leopard Print

Ah, the weekend, why you no longer? Feeling a bit tired after a busy weekend, could do with another day off to be honest! Today I have for you nails that I wore last night that matched my dress. It was a friends birthday and we went to a fancy restaurant. So of course I had to do the matchy matchy nails. For this particular look I used a base of Essence Fame Fatale on all my nails except the ring finger where I used China Glaze I'm not a Lion. I stamped leopard print on my ring finger with black and then tried a half stamping of flowers in gold with accent glittery bits. It was a different look for me and I quite enjoyed it!

 Completely love the holo glitter!

I probably should have filled in some of the "prints" in the Leopard print?

This matched my dress which was leopard and floral..sounds weird but isn't! Promise! I don't really want to take it off, but needs must with work tomorrow. Ah well..have a great week people :)

Essence Toffee to Go with Essence Space Queen

Hello, hello and good evening to you all. I have a impulse buy polish that I bought today to show you. I have been expounding recently to the non polish people the benefits of Essences polishes. The bottle are small, the price is small and there are many lovely color to chose from. So of course, after talking about said polish to others I feel the need to go back looking at the pretties I have been promoting, LOL. Today I grabbed Toffee to Go and Space Queen from Essence when I was meant to helping the other half buy a white shirt :)

Essence Toffe to Go- a nude glam apparently!

Quite Nude and Glam-like, I think :)

Toffee to Go with Flash, hmm dead fingers a bit? Or is that just my pale skin!

Now to add some bling, how could I go past Space Queen?

As you can see, Space Queen is a little hard to photograph over Toffee to Go, but they do go so well together. It makes that nude polish just a little bit blingier without slapping people over the head screaming "Look at my Glitter polish!!". The glitters appear to be holographic and the slight pink tint in Space Queen is not noticeable at all over the nude polish. This combo will have people wondering why you keep staring at your fingers...it's a secret between you and your nudey blingy digits! :)

What did I use: Ulta3 Base Coat

No top Coat for the pics!

Picture Polish Nude with Essence Night in Vegas

Tonight I have a NOTD post for you. I have been wearing this mani for the last few days. I wasn't going to post about it as I thought it was just another "work appropriate" look but not particularly of interest. Picture Polish Nude though is super work appropriate and itself quite interesting and lovely color. I decided to jazz up the mani with one of my Essence Special Effect Toppers. As I was going for not-so-flashy I used Essence Special Effect Topper Night in Vegas.

I forgot to take a photo of what the Picture Polish Nude looked liked on the nails. Oops! I applied Ulta3 Base Coat and 2 Coats of Nude though before added a coat of Essence Night in Vegas.

This is the mani after 2 days of hard (work) wear. I spent alot of my time staring at my nails and making the special effect topper flash from green to gold to orange :) It was hours of happy entertainment, LOL. Essence Night in Vegas is clearly a flakie but what I like about it is that the flakies are regular and space evenly out without trying..and look like a flakie pattern.

It reminds me of a damask silk pattern, so pretty.

Hope you thought this post was worth a look :)  I tried to stamp last night, but was so tired I was transferring the stamp wonky from the plate and half missing the rubber stamp BEFORE I even got near my nails. Erk! I feel some nail stamping/art coming on tomorrow though..so please check in and see how I went :)
