This is Halloween Nail Art Challenge: Water Marbling

Hey all, today I have for you my Halloween Water Marbling attempt..I have water marbled with some success before, but the waters of marbling..she be finicky and unpredictable, just like the ocean. So I do have a halloweeny type water marble for you today..but it isn't the best in the world as I had ALL sorts of trouble with making patterns in the polish..it all just wanted to lift out in one piece whilst making the design..argh.

The colors I chose for the Halloween theme to water marble were, Kleancolor White as a base and China Glaze Liquid Leather, Kleancolor Metallic Purple, Butter London Slapper and China Glaze Japanese Koi and here is the (dubious?) results.

I quite like how the ring finger turned out!

The thumb water marble swirls are pretty good too! :)
Not a complete nail art fail..but it was a struggle to get to this stage..I usually have a bit more patience but it wasn't in play today.

This is Halloween Nail Art Challenge- Horror Movies

I love Halloween and the thought of all the spooky things and things that go bump in the night, but alas, Australian's are not really into that sort of thing with Halloween. So when Lacquer Dreams came up with a Halloween challenge on the Aussie Nails Facebook Group, how could I resist. My only problem is that I can't freehand..I can barely draw a stick figure in a normal picture, so my artistic talent is naught in general. To be honest I didn't give artistic-ness a crack this particular mani and I guess that will be minus a few points for lack of effort but I do love what I did. It's Horror Movies with glam-ness!

The October 1 mani is 'Horror Movies" and I chose to do an abstract version of A Nightmare on Elm Street as I have always loved Freddy and the nightmare concept. I like scary movies, I just don't like the music and tend to cheat and fast forward a bit so the music doesn't creep me out! LOL. I thought for ages about what movie and what I could do, but alot of nail art I could create just wasn't "me"...so this is what I went with.

For this mani I used China Glaze Sydney Sand as a base and I stamped using Konad Q1 stamping plate in Zoya Sooki. I then dotted some red glitter with China Glaze Ruby Pumps. To me it kinda looks like the razor claws that Freddy uses ..scratched across each nail. I think the middle nail is my favorite as it has that just swiped off centre look :)
