Zoya Today Kelly is Grey

I am having a really bad day, so today's swatch is Zoya Kelly. I guess it's one of the 50 shades of Grey, just a wearable one...see my humor hasn't evaporated completely. Today after going to the doctors I did a bit of cheer-me-up shopping with some Essence makeup and staring at the pretty polishes. I did buy some Models Prefer Special FX mini set and, because of my dark mood, the Models Prefer Midnight Hours mini set. When I came home I just couldn't gather much enthusiasm to swatch the sets..so it's just a tease isn't it? Sorry! Onto Zoya Kelly, I got her in a blog sale along with a few others and have been dying to try Zoya..dying I tell you. I did Zoya Kelly over a base coat, and no top coat and got bubbles..as you will be able to see :(

So, you can see there is some major bubble action going on. My base coat is Ulta3 which I use for ALL my other mani's. It can bubble a bit but I notice it right away at the base coat stage. Not so sure what is going here, but will have to give Kelly another go and see what happen with bubbling. I am about to order a few more so I hope this is a one off or I will be crying. If you take the bubbles away Kelly is a lovely blue grey which would go well with some flakies methinks!
