The Scofflaw Polish Wraith Pinned to the Mist is a lovely aqua polish and because it's surrounded by lots of teal/green it takes on the greeney tone. I loved how this looked and it's definitely an Autumn look. We are having a second wind of summer though so I am back to the bright colors after this! Hope you are having a great day, I am sure I am having a massage and then a lovely dinner for my birthday :)
Come to the darkside of the polish world, where there is never enough polish, nail art or glitter!

Scofflaw Wraith Pinned to the Mist and NerdLacquer Event Horizion
Hi guys! It's my birthday today..and this post was scheduled last week as I am on holidays :) This is a look I wore recently and since I love NerdLacquer and am determined to have a complete set one day. One of my recent grabby hands was Event Horizon. Event Horizon is a gorgeous dark teal jelly with silver hexs and microglitter. Now since I wanted to mix this up I used Event Horizon as an accent nail with Scofflaw Wraith Pinned to the Mist on the rest of my fingers. Scofflaw has an awesome polish with Wraith Pinned to the Mist, its an aqua shimmer polish filled with blue, violet, green, and gold sparks as well as delicate gold flakes and is stunning on it's own. I then stamped with A-England St George with a floral pattern from Emily de Molly plate. For this manicure I used 3 coats of Scofflaw and 3 coats of Nerdlacquer

A-England BriarWood, Ruby Wing Strawberry Shortcake and Gold Stamping
Hi guys! So you saw a swatch of A-England Briarwood that I wore a little while ago. Of course I couldn't leave it well alone and had to bling up Briarwood with some glitter, a gradient and stamping. I decided to accent my ring finger with Ruby Wing Strawberry Shortcake which is a gold glitter that turns a lovely purple in the sun. I did a mini gradient with Briarwood and Dance Legend Roz on my ring finger and I stamped with China Glaze passion.
Holo sparkles!
The holographicness of Briarwood is still gorgeous! :)
I stamped off center on my middle finger, but I don't care! LOL
Completely love how you can have a base of a lovely polish and completely change it up to something slightly different and individualize your look! I love Ruby Wing Strawberry Shortcake and wish I had captured a pic of it in it's gold sparkly state not in the sun, oh well. It's super pretty under UV light in it's purple state :) The gold stamping is a classic contrast and makes this mani elegant I think. Hope you enjoyed this look..and you have a great day..

A-England Briarwood
Hey guys! Its the end of the weekend for me and I can tell the week ahead is a doozy. It's always that way for me when I have holidays coming, holidays next week, yay! So today I have for you one of the newer to me A-England polishes with Briarwood. Briarwood is a burgandy/brown shifting polish with scatter holo. This color is definitely an Autumn color and although I am in denial about summer being over, officially its Autumn, boo :( This is 2 coats of Briarwood with top coat.
In the shade this polish is a burgandy/maroon shade..and the lovely flashes of red come out in the sun. The holo does come out and play under artificial lighting but makes the polish turn brown, often making this polish look a bit darker than it really is. The sun definitely brings out the best in the polish but it so interesting to wear and the holo does make this so fun :)

A England Order of the Garter with Nerd Lacquer Shiny
I know it's christmas, but I haven't felt really christmassy yet! I bought my first present yesterday, yeah..not doing so well. Today has been super busy with air conditioning being install at our house, in a timely fashion of course, considering it hit 40 degrees celsius. I don't know how tradies do the early hours..6.45am, ugh! After running around like crazy I finally crashed around 5pm and had to have a nanna nap, my brain just wouldn't function! Before I had my snooze I took some pics of what I wore for the last few days.
I started with a base of A England Order of the Garter, except for an accent nail of Nerd Lacquer Shiny on my ring finger. I then stamped my new Bundle Monster plates on my first finger using China Glaze Millennium and Bahamian Escape on my middle finger. I did a kinda gradient on my little finger with sponging OPI DS Magic and on my thumb a gradient of China Glaze Glistening snow at the cuticle end and Techno further down.
I've been doing the mix n match mani on the left and right hands a fair bit atm. I use 5 different nail designs or looks but switch up which nails I put them on on each hand. Although I tend to leave the ring finger as a glitter accent. I might try switching that up next time too! Next post will be a Christmas mani, I swear! :)

Oh the blue shimmer in A England Order of the Garter :)
You can see the OPI DS Magic shimmer on the little finger here :)
Here is a quick pic of my right hand, gah! Holo awesomeness and I love the Nerd Lacquer Shiny :)

Sally Hansen Copperhead Drag Marble
Hello everybodies! I have a quick post for you tonight inspired by Lab Muffin's Tortoiseshell Drag Marble and originally I was going to use different colors, but I thought..why not recreate the look with close as I can get colors! So for this recreation I used Sally Hansen's Lustre Shine Copperhead and A-England Lancelot. For the tutorial on how to do the drag marble look you can head over and check out Lab Muffins tutorial here.
I really like the look of the drag marble effect, you have to work quickly and be careful not to drag too hard or you end up with bare nail patches. I found the cleanup for Lancelot difficult on my ring finger..hence a bit more of a gap but otherwise the rest weren't too bad! Sally Hansen Copperhead was much more different on the nail than in the box, it was more copper/bronze which I loved. The duochrome can be seen as a duskiness and was more evident in person.
This was a super fun and quick look to do and looks amazingly difficult to do, but all you need is 2 polishes and a toothpick..will you be trying it?
