Essie Jelly Sandwich

Today I have a subtle but pretty look with a jelly sandwich which I have been wearing for the last few days. Work has been pretty busy and sleep at a premium :( Today is my Saturday so I had a great sleep in, catch up with Mum, sister and her friend at Southland The other half and I went to see The Bourne Legacy in Gold Class in the afternoon, woot! It was a great movie, highly recommend it. Jeremy Renner is becoming quite a fav..he's not hard to look at plus he does an awesome job in roles he portraits ;) Onto the polish. For this look I used 2 coats of Essie Miss Matched, a coat of OPI Pirouette My Whistle and a top coat of  OPI Care to Danse? You will have to forgive the nail tip wear it as I have been rough as with my nails. Must be time for a manicure!

I did very much like the subtly of this particular look, very work appropriate with a bit of blinging going on! Essie's formula's are amazing and OPI as always are great :)

Today I also saw this display in my local target, Essence Ready for Boarding

Whilst the polish colors are quite nice looking they don't speak to me much by telling me to buy them! The whole concept was cute..but the eyeshadows are not what I would travel with, the polishes would be great pedi colors I imagine. I however, was very interested in the white bottles in the front of the display. This is a Peel off Base Coat!

This is touted as the easy way to get glitter polishes off with it's peel off easy removal, OMG! I wonder if this will affect the longevity of polish wear or really be super cool. I can't wait to try it very soon as go back and get some more if it really is the bees knees :)

Hope your week is going well, is a peel off base coat appealing to you?

  1. I love me some jelly sammiches! (chomp-chomp) :-) I wish Essence would make that peel off base coat available in the US.

    4. This post is over a month old..about a day after the Ready to Board Peel off came out I was aware that is the same as PVA. I have got both but have yet to try the PVA :)
